Ayokunle Mark Fatukasi

Ayokunle (Mark) O. Fatukasi is a highly accomplished and results-driven professional with a distinguished career in construction management. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive leadership style, Ayokunle has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional results and consistently exceeding expectations. His technical proficiency and effective communication skills have made him an asset in every project he undertakes.

Ayokunle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying from Anglia Polytechnic University and an associate degree in building studies from Erith College of Technology. He further honed his expertise by obtaining certifications in Construction Management from the Turner School of Construction Management, New York, NY. Additionally, he earned a diploma in Project Management from the Mechanics Institute, New York, NY.

Ayokunle is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) accredited by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). He also holds certifications in OSHA 10-hour and OSHA 30-hour, demonstrating his commitment to safety in the construction industry. His expertise extends to include being a NYC DOB 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User, FDNY Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (CSFSM), and NYC DOB Construction Superintendent (CS).

Presently, Ayokunle serves as a Project Director at A New JFK under The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) in Queens, NY. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in the oversight and compliance of the $18 billion John F. Kennedy Airport Redevelopment Project. His areas of supervision include Community Engagement, Technology, Compliance, Workforce Participation, LCP Tracker Certified Payroll, and Technical Assistance.

Previously, Ayokunle held the position of Business Development Manager at the New York City School Construction Authority (NYC SCA) Mentor Program for both Velez Organization and STV/Bradford JV in LIC, NY. In this role, he managed budgets exceeding $5.0 million and provided essential Project Cost Estimating Services to mentor firms within the program. His responsibilities extended to providing training solutions, mentoring, and coaching in various aspects of construction administration, ensuring the growth and progress of participating firms.

Earlier in his career, Ayokunle worked as a Cost Estimator/Affirmative Action Manager at the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY)-Bradford Construction Company in NYC, NY. He provided cost estimating construction services and evaluated change orders for the NY/TAT program while overseeing AA and EEO compliance for improvement projects.

Before moving to the United States, Ayokunle gained extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor with the Kent County Council in Maidstone, Kent, UK. In this capacity, he supervised phased projects from start to finish, prepared bid documentation and change orders, and maintained accurate contract records.
